Tonic Studios Shadow Box with pop up flowers

Hello:) I've used the new Tonic Studios Shadow Box dies with a little twist to make a pop up card/box. The flowers were all made with Beautiful Blooms dies and a few older punches and I've added some Crystal Drops in the centres. The papers are BoBunny - Butterfly Kisses :)
I've added a loop of ribbon to pull the inside out of the sleeve and the flowers pop up but when the sleeve is put over it again the flowers fold flat inside.

Win and Tonic March challenge

So it's time for another challenge on the Win & Tonic blog.
It's a really easy theme this time so why not go ahead and add a card to be in with a chance of winning a super prize from Tonic Studios?
You'll see the post HERE with all the details of the prize and lots of gorgeous inspiration from the DT ladies :)

On my card this month I've used the Bountiful Bouquet Corner and Wedding die with hearts from the Lovebird and Heart Invite dies.

Making a Dutch Fold card with Trimcraft Wild Flowers papers and First Edition dies

To make this Dutch Fold card you will need:
Dovecraft A4 Premium white card
Trimcraft First Edition Wild Flowers 6x6 paper pad
Trimcraft First Edition Nesting Bloom dies
Trimcraft First Edition Nesting Doily dies
Trimcraft First Edition Bunting dies
Trimcraft First Edition Family Sentiment dies
Dovecraft Adhesive Pearls

double sided tape
Dovecraft Crafter's glue
die cutting machine

How to make it:
1.Score and cut the A4 piece of white card as shown.

2. Fold over the top of the card base and add double sided tape to the inside of the bottom folded part.

3. Attach the piece with the double sided tape to the back of the card base making sure the bottoms of both parts are lined up.

4. Cut contrasting pieces of paper from the Wild Flowers pad to the sizes shown.

5. Attach the pieces to the card with double sided tape.

6. Use the 8.5cm diameter Nesting Bloom die to cut a white shape and the 5.5cm diameter die from the same set to cut a patterned shape. Use the 7cm diameter Nesting Doily die to cut a contrasting shape. Use the Mum die to cut two shapes - one white and one purple.
Layer these as shown and glue to the top flap of the card so that the shape protrudes over the bottom edge.

7. Die cut the heart bunting twice, cut in two so  that there are 3 hearts on each and glue to the bottom flaps of the card with a lilac pearl in each heart.
Die cut the circle bunting and glue across the top of the card with an aqua pearl in the centre of each.

Baby Girl cards with Trimcraft's Craft a Card dies

 Good morning :)
I made two baby girl cards for personal use over the weekend - one for the new mum and dad and the other for the new grandparents - so I used this gorgeous new Craft a Card die from Trimcraft for both with some "It's a Girl" paper which I had in my stash. The little deer is from the same paper pad and teh other dies are from the new Trimcraft |Baby themed die set. I've added lots of little coordinating gems.

Crafting Live, Belfast

It's almost time for the annual Belfast Craft Fair and I know lots of you will be meeting up there. I'll be demoing lots of Tonic Studios new releases for Crafty Devils so make sure and pop over to say "Hello!"

Wild Flowers

Hello :) It's time for another little look at some of the gorgeous new Wild Flowers papers from Trimcraft. I have used 3 different pages on this card along with the First Edition Nesting Blooms dies and Border dies.
I used a stencil from the Folk Art "Garden Icons" set for the flower pot and added some Moss Painted Finish for a more realistic effect.

Folk Art Coastal Texture Paint from Plaid

This is my first creation using the new Folk Art Coastal Texture Paint from Plaid. It is exactly what it says on the label!! I used the Sea Mist on a little wooden house to make a beach hut and stippled it on with a flat brush.
For the background I've used a combination of Folk Art Chalk Paints and a little Crackle Glaze in parts.
The dies are all from Trimcrafts (First Edition and Dovecrafts)

Wedding Day - Trimcraft

Good morning :) Today's card is a little sneak peak at the gorgeous new "Sweet Nothings" First Edition paper pads from Trimcraft. I always love the wood effect papers so immediately fell for this one with the roses on it too.
I've also used the Trimcraft First Edition Bunting, Wedding abd Nesting Doily die sets.

I Miss You

I've just realised that I've got lots of photos of cards which I've never posted here so I'm trying to get caught up on some of them. This is a very simple one using Tonic Studios Mandala Moments dies and Button Strip die. The Mandala dies come with coordinating stamps but I've kept this one plain with some fine dashed lines around the edges of the lettering.

Yesterday's demo at Craftworld, Belfast

A big thanks to all the lovely ladies who joined me yesterday at Craftworld, Belfast. When I saw the rain in the morning I thought I might be spending the day on my own so I was especially glad to see how many braved the elements :)
It was really lovely too to have Isabella's company - a very talented young card maker who seemed to be enjoying everything too!
I had lots of new things with me yesterday and I hope you all enjoyed seeing them. I'm looking forward to seeing some photos of the cards etc you make with what you bought yesterday :)

Concrete and Moss Painted Finishes from Plaid

Good morning :) I'm just packing up all my things for tomorrow's demo at Craftworld, Belfast and thought I'd show you one more before I close the lid.
I'll be using my favourite textured finishes - Rust, Concrete and Moss from Plaid and on this card I've painted the light and dark shades of both the Concrete and Moss Painted Finishes onto card to create a stone wall effect.
The flowers were made with the Dovecraft Blooming Lovely die set and paper pad while the sentiment was made with Trimcraft's Family Sentiment die set.
Looking forward to seeing some of you there :)

Demo at Craftworld on Saturday 4th March

Just a quick reminder that I'll be demoing at Craftworld, Belfast from 11.00am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm - 4.00pm on Saturday 4th March and would love to see you there :)

I'll have lots to show you  - Tonic Studios dies (some of which I've used in this card), Trimcraft papers, dies and embellishments and Plaid Painted Finishes.

Trimcraft Craft a Card die with Wild Flower papers

Well, the new 6x6 Craft a Card dies from Trimcraft are amazing! I've just used the large butterfly one (FEDIE171) to cut the pattern into the front of a turquoise card from the 24 Mash-Up card pack and then glued the edge of a 6x6 piece of the brand new Wild Flower paper inside. I've only glued one edge to the card so that the filigree effect is not lost. Lastly, I added coordinating pearls.
I've taken several photos to show the dimension on the card from different angles.
